Looking for the Best Anime Download Sites
Anime or the Japanese form of animation has become such a huge hit among viewers of all ages that they are now widely televised everywhere. Fans, or “otaku” to people in the know, never fail to sit in front of their TV sets to catch every episode of their favorite anime, whatever channel it is on. And whenever reception is not that good, or a TV episode is missed, there’s no need for fans to worry because there’s always the Internet.
Anime download sites are an anime fan’s reliable source of anime glory in the Internet. Anime downloads online are a dime a dozen, so if you are looking for the best anime download sites, read on to know what to do.
For starters, you may want to choose between downloading from free sites or from pay or membership sites. Both site types have their own up- and downsides as well. In a membership site, you can be assured that what you are getting anime downloads only of superior quality, although you may be asked for a certain fee of course. If you are worried about spending too much, it is advisable for you to browse the Internet for affordable packages. Compare each site’s offers and sign up for the one which you think could give you more value for your money.
On the other hand, while free anime downloads do away with the need to pay for any anime episode, finding and downloading these episodes expose you to the risk of malicious software, viruses and Trojans. A site that offers free anime video downloads is your best bet if it offers safe downloads.
With free download sites, you would almost always get harmful software along with the episodes you are downloading. This is never good news for you because these viruses can affect your computer’s performance. It can also put your network security at risk. Unlike downloading in pay sites, the files in a free site are rarely scanned by the administrator for safe downloading. If ever you decided to download from free sites, you must be sure that your computer is well equipped with the latest anti-virus software.
Whether you choose a free or a membership site, be sure to check out their catalogues of anime videos first. The best anime download sites offer a wide variety of anime representing every genre. Their directories are also always updated, keeping their list of downloadable episodes and direct to video offerings available for you at all times.
One of the most important things to look out for in an anime downloading site is the variety of genres of anime videos available. If the site you choose is offering anime downloads from different genres, either old or new anime, you just hit the jackpot. Make the most out of this opportunity. It is very rare for sites to carry old anime titles and the latest anime series in one package as well.
It would also be helpful if the site regularly posts reviews of different anime titles so you will have an idea about what to expect from an episode if you are not yet particularly familiar with it. A site’s recommendation is especially useful if you are just starting to discover Japanese animation.
Pixar’s Up Best Animated Movie of 2009
With 1995′s Toy Story Pixar forever changed the way we watched animated movies. As great as classic hand-drawn animated films like Snow White, The Jungle Book and The Lion King are they just don’t pop off the screen the way that today’s three dimensional CGI films do. Though oldtimers might argue, movies today are more visually arresting and immersing than ever before. Pixar has continued to raise the incredibly high bar they set with Toy Story, somehow managing to outdo themselves with each new film they release. Up is no exception to that trend, and the film has become an instant classic and is one of the contenders for the title of best film of 2009.
While most of Pixar’s early films were light and fluffy their most recent offerings Wall-E and now Up have introduced more emotional depth. In this latest film the storytelling is so powerful that you will find yourself a helpless passenger on an emotional roller coaster throughout, and you’ll feel an empathy for the characters rarely elicited in an animated movie. There were plenty of moist eyes in the theater when I saw this film, and a few people were openly crying.
Don’t let that fool you into thinking this film is a downer – it is not. Sure there are some poignantly sad moments, but that is just part of the emotional roller coaster I mentioned above. Like all Pixar films there is plenty of humor as well, and once again they’ve struck the perfect balance of comedy that will appeal to children and adults alike.
Also, like all Pixar films the voice acting is top-notch. Ed Asner of The Mary Tyler Moore Show fame does an Oscar-worthy job voicing the main character, the once gentle but grown cantankerous Carl Fredricksen, who sets off on an amazing journey to fulfill a promise made to his deceased wife. 9 year old Jordan Nagai is also great voicing Russell, a young wilderness explorer who is swept up in Carl’s adventure. Fans of the TV show Cheers will recognize John Ratzenberger’s voice. A Pixar movie regular he always seems to have at least a bit part in each of their movies.
Up, like Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Wall-E before it, is a movie that will be enjoyed by viewers of any age, and this clever animated film more than holds its own on the list of contenders for the title of the best movie of 2009.
Why 80′s Arcade Games are the Best
Reminiscing the 80s would never be complete without mentioning about 80s arcade games. An arcade game is a coin-operated gaming machine that you would usually find in entertainment centers, video arcades, and even in restaurants. Popular arcade games are redemption games that give players rewards based on their score in the game; computer-controlled video games; and pinball games wherein the player manipulates one or more metal balls on a playfield.
Flashback
Arcade games began to be so popular in the early 70s. Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney made Atari that released the Pong video game (based on ping-pong or table tennis) that became almost everyone’s favorite. The success of the Pong video game spawned lots of imitations and created more and more avid video players. Eventually video game arcades abounded through the 80s. They can be found in the malls, department stores, bars and even in restaurants and movie houses. They’re everywhere in the United States
Popular 80s Arcade Games
In the 80s, arcade games became even more popular. Some of the most influential 80s arcade games were the following:
Space Invaders – This game, one of the predecessors of modern video games, was created by the Japanese Toshihiro Nishikado. It was first released in 1978 in Japan. This arcade game mimics a shooting gallery with a movable laser (resembling a cannon) placed below the video screen. There were video aliens that were designed to disrupt the game by passing across the screen and by raining bombs and rays that are deadly. The goal of the player is to avoid those deadly rays and bombs and shoot the aliens so that they won’t reach the bottom of the screen or else, he or she will lose in the game.
Pac-Man – This was created by Namco and was first distributed in 1980. It game remains to be popular today though it has already taken new forms. Compared to many 80s arcade games, Pac-Man was not violent, was easy to play and was enjoyable, which explains why it clicked both to young and old, girls and boys alike.
The yellow circle with a mouth called Pac-Man makes people remember this game so well through the years. The game is played by maneuvering Pac-Man through the maze, letting him eat small dots and different item prizes along the way. Ghosts named Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde on the other hand chase Pac-Man.
Donkey Kong – Another video game that emerged so popular among other 80s arcade games was the Donkey Kong. It was made by Nintendo and was introduced in 1981. Basically the game is played by maneuvering the chief character, Mario (formerly Jumpman),across a series of platforms. As Mario goes through the platforms, he has to get rid of obstacles that prevent him from rescuing a damsel in distress from the hands of Donkey Kong.
The abovementioned are only some of the most popular 80s arcade games. There were also the Battlezone, Pengo, Tron, Tetris, Rubik’s cube and many others. The craze for 80s arcade games only began to subside in the late 80s when newer forms of entertainment were being introduced such as advanced home video game consoles but 80s arcade games didn’t totally die out until the coming of fighting games like the Street Fighter ll that required two players.

hello, today i want to talk to you about one of the best ways to get anime news or even anime updates (like about your favorite animes out there)and some things like that.To me the number one thing I mean the number one thing is to go to some good anime forums let me explain a little ok,its like this when you sign up for some anime forums you get to
:
1.voice your opinion or opinions for that fact.
2.get the latest news about all different types of anime
3. Debate about all the hot topics and much more (trust me)
now here comes the big question “what type of forums should i sign up for?”well you can sign up for anyone you want it really doesn`t matter.they could be big, small, popular – unpopular, its totally up to you (trust me i mean it its your choice).BUT, I would recommand a great forum to at least check out here it is this forum http://animelovers411.forumotions.com/forum.htm At this moment it is on the the little side but, its a wonderful place if you ask me. Here are some good reasons why a small forum (I think is better then a big forum):
1.When you post it will not be buryed after a couple of minutes(if you know what i mean)
2.its also way easyer to make friends on it (if you like that you dont have to)
3.On top of that it is easyer to be come a mod and things

TIP:
when going on anime forums make the best signatures every to symbolize your self people like to see that
So, anyway I hope now you see that is isn`t the worse to sign up with small forums. Also on top of all that evently it will become a bigger forum because every post you post on the topics and forum it will help grow that forum. If I was you I would go with the smaller forums because to me it feel like the community is closer together and that the people on it (the anime forum) really listen to you.I dont know f it is just me but thats what I think. So, thats it I think 100 % that the best way of getting Anime and manga news and updates and stuff is going thourgh anime and manga forums(I think smaller is better)
